Atuona and Puamau, Hiva Oa, June 2012

One of the Marquesas "Southern" islands is Hiva Oa. The Aranui makes regular stops at Atuona, Puamau, and Hanaiapa. Each of these villages are unique with their own history and attractions, including the famous gravesites of the artist Paul Gauguin and  French singer Jacques Brel.
