2011 Adventures Begin....

2011 Adventures Begin…

Loving life!

Welcome to the beginning of our little adventure blog.

Its been suggested for years by friends and family to start a website of our adventures, travels, and especially our photos.

This blog is dedicated to my father Alan Hirschenhofer whose birthday is today, and who was an incredible adventurer and photographer. He greatly inspired me to explore the world with my camera, and I wish he were here to share our many adventures - he would have been loving this!

To begin, I'll share a few photos of one of our dearest projects. Here we are doing some of the things we like to do best in one of the most special places on this planet, Nu‘alolo Kai, Kaua‘i, Hawai‘i.  These photos were part of our Nā Pali Coast ‘Ohana's Hale Wa'a o Kaunapueo (canoe house) rehabilitation project during 2008 and 2009. Mahalo nui to our friend and Nā Pali Coast ‘Ohana's awesome volunteer George Gurniak for sending these gifts to me this past Christmas!

2011 is starting to look very exciting! Moving time has come to our little Līhu‘e, Kaua‘i house, which is great because on February 12 we leave for Tahiti and the Tuamotu atolls!  New adventures await! Stay tuned for more details....

Please feel free to comment below, or send us an email - we would love to hear from you!

What a fantastic life we live!

Mahalo nui for making the time to visit our little adventure blog. Hope you enjoy the photos!
