The Hanalei Hawaiian Civic Club invited me to take photos of their annual "May Day by the Bay" fundraiser, held May 26, 2012. Beautiful event with amazing Hawaiian music, both local (Kilauea Social Club, Alan Akaka and the Islanders), award-winning headliners "Kupaoa" and "Mailani Makainai with Sean Na'auao" and hula.
